After heating up well in the Zumba session, all the participants met at the exit of the Boulevard and, as usual, went out first at 10:25. Then, at 10:30, 6,000 women run, forming a strong mass that seemed not to end. All this with the encouragement of Sara Ibarguren Etxeberria and Andrea Bosch Alfaro, journalist of IRUTXULOKO HITZA and announcers of this year’s Librass.

As is known, Lilatoia was created by the feminist movement with the objective of women occupying the public space, and this claim has been very present throughout the career, as well as other demands such as that of Palestine.

The fastest was Maria Lasa Galarraga, who travelled the five kilometers of the tour in a time of 17:20 minutes. Nerea Egia Larrinaga has been the second and Itziar Ibarbia Urrutia the third. Meanwhile, in the youth category was Lasa Galarraga herself, the second Maider Etxeberria and the third Maria Gomez Calvo. In the adult category, Ibarbia Urrutia has been the fastest, Onintza Zeberio Arretxe the second and Leire Troitiño Berasategi the third. In the category of people over 60 years of age, the first has been Ana López, the second Elena Cano Gautier and the third Elizabet Elizalde. And, on the other hand, the award to the largest group was carried by the ikastola Jakintza, with 180 participants, the second largest being that of the Gazteleku de Deba and the third the Etxelila Aringaingane de Ondarroa.

It should be noted that prior to the awards ceremony Arantxa Gurmendi, Euskaltzale and feminist died in December, who was one of the founders of the Librass. Other creators who have received a floral offering in honor of Gurmendi have also been present.
