Liberated Stytianos Messinezis, the man who attempted to assassinate Sara Majarenas' daughter
  • The man who tried to kill Izar, the daughter of Sara Majarenas, two years ago, has been on parole since February 15: Stytianos Messinezis. He tried to kill Izar

Stytianos Messinezis assaulted him two stab wounds on Izar's back, two years old, in January 2017. It was he who confessed what he had done to his daughter when she showed up at the police station. He said he had killed his daughter, but when the ambulance and the police had left, Izar was serious but alive. After surgery in the hospital, he was admitted to the intensive care unit with a severe prognosis.

Numerous demonstrations were held calling for the rapprochement and release of Sara and Izar. He was released in April 2018.
