The new van will allow the project workers to distribute food to the refugees on the Greek island of Lesbos. In this sense, they have thanked "the support and help of Basque society". The two music festivals held in Pamplona/Iruña have helped to reach the amount they needed.
The deadline was set until March, when the crowdfounding campaign was opened, at a public hearing on 14 January. But only two weeks have passed and they have come to an unemployment of around EUR 40,000. If they did not get enough money, they said that they would no longer be able to feed thousands of refugees in the Moria refugee camp every day.
We will soon have a new camper for the distribution of the meals we cook in Lesbos.
