The staff stabilization process “will leave a lot of people out”, said Jon Hernández, by Jon Podemos. He told the Basque Government that “they have not had the necessary flexibility to promote the use of the Basque Country and to reconcile their service status in the Administration. In our opinion, it would be possible to be flexible, without breaking the pacts around the Basque”.
According to the PP, Carmelo Barrio, “the requirement of Euskera levels is high, in the case of casual workers who have not had this requirement so far, it is necessary to carry out an analysis”.
From the Basque Government, Councillor Olatz Garamendi has responded that the requirement of the Basque profile is “a consequence of the regulations for the normalization of the Basque Country”, “it is not something started now, they are already existing profiles”.
EH Bildu has also stressed that Euskera is essential in the public administration to guarantee the right of citizens to be cared for in Euskera. “These atypical processes cannot represent a step backwards from the Basque Country.”
