NGO Save the Children has reported that some 130,000 children under the age of 10 remain isolated in the north of the Gaza Strip due to attacks by the Israeli Army in recent months. Humanitarian aid cannot reach or at least has not reached in the last 50 days, according to the NGO. Therefore, these children and their families have not received external aid, water, food, medicine.

Save the Children has pointed out that, in addition to the difficulty of physical access, the persecution of Israeli police forces must also be taken into account, as the United Nations has expressly requested Israel and the occupying State Army to ensure the arrival of humanitarian aid. However, Israel has not recognised this.

Aid to other parts of northern Gaza is also not coming, as Israel refuses to give them access. According to the information provided by the NGO itself, only one in ten trucks is granted permission.

According to Save the Children, about 44 per cent of the nearly 45,000 Palestinians killed in Gaza are under 10 years old.
