The man committed the aggression on 22 June last year in the Gipuzkoan village. Her partner had separated six months earlier and three days later had to sign the divorce, according to the Ertzaintza report. After a "strong discussion", the man took a knife of 15 centimeters of leaf and attacked the woman in the presence of her two children. She held her down the neck with her left hand, making it difficult to breathe. "He was aware that he had put his life at risk, but voluntarily decided not to kill her," he sentenced the sentence. It is mentioned on eight occasions that the man’s decision not to kill his wife was “free and voluntary”.

After all the speeches, the judgment was made public on 22 November. The individual accusations called for a sentence of 10 years ' imprisonment, an 8-year Public Prosecutor ' s Office and the defendant ' s defence as a substitute sentence of 2 years ' imprisonment. Finally, the judges who tried the "The Flock" case have sentenced him to 10 months and fifteen days in prison, deprived him of parental authority for two years and will not be able to approach his former wife or children. He will therefore not enter prison if there is no irregularity or inaccuracy in it.

“He didn’t defend himself”

The Court of Lleida, Catalan Countries, recently issued the ruling of another machista aggression. An uncle and a nephew have been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for an attack last summer, according to La Vanguardia. Once again, it has been questioned again what it is and what is not a violation. "The victim did not stand up and remained silent. Therefore, there was no violence," the sentence says.
