In particular, 21 doctors, 16 nurses and a logistics coordinator from Cuba have been mobilized, as reported by the Police. The volunteers have been thanked by the citizens of Turin, who have come to vote. It is a question of saving lives and helping as much as possible, since the humanitarian objective of the Cuban Chancellor, Bruno Rodríguez, is to help the other countries.

The island is often blocked and criticized, but it cannot be denied: Cuba has an important foreign health system. It has nine doctors per thousand inhabitants and another 9,000 will be graduated in July. It also has 84,000 nurses (and another 34,000 students who have chosen this profession).
