The Director General of Kristau Eskola, Mikel Ormazabal, made it clear that the Education Department of the Basque Government has a protocol of action and hygiene measures and added that the cleaning and disinfection of the centres will be carried out in advance and adapted to the new situation.

Within the framework of this protocol, each centre shall draw up its own training plan, the methodology to be followed and the date and time at which they will be organised until the end of the course. Each centre shall communicate the plan to the families.

The importance of classroom education

“Classroom education is essential, especially for the most vulnerable students, those who need it most,” Ormazabal stressed. “These students need to go back to school before completing the course.”
