The athlete Dina Asher-Smith calls for further study of the rule in sport

On August 16, the 100-meter final was contested and Dina Asher-Smith ended the race dragging along the leg cramps. But later, it was the fastest in the qualifying race for the end of the 200 meters that would be disputed on 26 August and, once achieved, made the following statements to the BBC sports network:

"[Menstruation] It's a great sports theme for women"

"I think there are more people who should investigate from the point of view of sports science."

"Sometimes you see the girls with a solid track record dreaming at random, and from the inside they have really fought."

"It could be done with more funding, because if it were men's stuff, we would have a million different ways of dealing with things."
