According to article 413 of the Spanish Penal Code, public authorities or officials who conceal or inject documents under their charge may be punished by imprisonment for up to four years.

Sanfermin 78 Gogan explained that in 1978 the Congress of Deputies ordered a report on police aggression in the Sanfermines that year. This document, together with three other reports it contains, was first requested from Juan Ignacio Zoido, who was minister of the Interior, and then from Fernando Grande-Marlaska, who was admitted as evidence by the Provincial Court. But they insist that it is not available in the registers.

Sanfermines 78 Gogoan believes that this practice violates the rights of individual accusations, as these tests can have a significant impact on the case. For this reason, the complaint will be brought not only against the Interior Ministers, but also against the Under-Secretary of the Interior, Isabel Goikoetxea, and the General Director of the Archives, José Rafael Rojas.

Also Martín Villa

It will not be the only complaint that the association has brought about by the events of 1978. Earlier this year, he filed a criminal complaint against the then Spanish Minister of the Interior, Rodolfo Martín Villa, to debug his responsibilities in the murder of Germán Rodríguez and in the police massacre.

Numerous associations and victims’ agents launched a state-level campaign against the Minister of the Interior for the murders and assaults they received at the time when he was a minister.
