In addition, prior to the mobilizations, they have organized meeting spaces to share struggles, with fairs of social collectives and live radio programs, interviews with collectives and round tables. It will take place in Pamplona at 11:00 in the Plaza del Castillo and in Bilbao from 12:00 in the Arenal.

In September more than 40 social groups met in Ozaeta at the meeting “The Sea of the Minor Fires” organized by the Social Rights Charter of the Basque Country. It advanced the construction of common demands to unite the struggles that are developed daily in the different social movements and collectives in the different territories of the Basque Country. “All these struggles are the basis of the necessary eco-social change and we want to jointly push forward this necessary eco-social alternative,” the Social Charter states.

Among all these actors, the roadmap for the change of the economic, political and social model, classified into 7 axes was agreed: a habitable planet for all people, an economic model that puts people at the centre rather than prioritizing the benefits of the few, the redistribution and recognition of work, the promotion of sovereignty, rights for all people, the renunciation of war and the increase of military spending and the planning and democratic participation.

“We are convinced that in order to move in that direction it is essential to activate society”, and that is why they have organized the Saturday demonstrations.
