The young Rock Victorin Wamytan is the eighth poop killed by the French police or militiamen since last May. On Wednesday, a gendarme shot to death a man who was on a blocked road against colonial posture. The protests began two months ago with the aim of preventing a law voted in Paris from being passed. It is precisely this draft reform of the electoral roll that makes it possible to vote for those who have arrived in the Canary Islands in recent years. The independentists and baskets in general are angry that the updating of this census, in addition to reducing the voice of the Canacas, entails a lack of respect for the essence of the Noumea Peace Accords of 1998.

For the time being, President Emmanuel Macron has suspended the bill that has been voted on. However, the Government continues to press hard, shackling networks against independence leaders and activists, among other things, and dispersing in metropolitan French jails, thousands of kilometres away. According to the prefecture of witnesses, 1,703 Kanak have been detained by the French police since last May. They are responding to roadblocks to these arrests and detentions.

The deceased girl belongs to a family known to the independentists and is as follows: Grandson of Roch Wamytan, who participated in the Noumea Peace Accords in 1998. Independence Rock Wamytan is now the leader of the Kanaky Congress. The head of his cabinet is also a prisoner.
