- On the weekend of 8 and 9 October the last two sessions of the first phase have been played in Donostia and Estella. Jone Uria has obtained the most points in the San Sebastian session, so it has been classified directly for the semi-finals. The same thing has been done by Aitor Bizkarra in the Estella programme. Once all the sessions of the first phase have been disputed, the bertsolaris that will act in the semi-finals have been known: 14 men and 10 women will participate and taking into account the territoriality, 12 from Gipuzkoa, 5 from Bizkaia, 4 from Iparralde and 3 from Navarra.
On October 8, six bertsolaris sang in the Victoria Eugenia room, full of 888 people, and the number of points each of them picked up after the session was as follows: Jone Uria (706 points), Onintza Enbeita (688 points), Aitor Etxebarriazarraga (682.5 points), Maddalen Arzallus (678 points), Eñaut Martikorena (674.5 points) and Beñat Iguaran (659 points).
Sunday was played for the first time a session of the General Championship in Estella. It included the bertsolaris and the score obtained by each: Aitor Bizkarra (693.5 points), Asier Azpiroz (666 points), Maialen Akizu (658.5 points), Imanol Uria (652 points), Unai Gaztelumendi (630.5 points) and Iñigo Mantzizidor ‘Mantxi’ (622.5 points).
Bertsolaris to act in the semi-finals
As can be seen in the classification table, Iñaki Apalategi has established the access barrier to the semi-finals, with 664 points.
The bertsolaris Alaia Martin (738 points), Nerea Ibarzabal (738 points), Jone Uria (706 points), Haritz Mujika (695.5 points), Aitor Bizkarra (693 points) and Joanes Illarregi (678 points) are the ones that have been classified live in the six sessions of the first phase.
Along with these, the 13 bertsolaris classified by score to the semifinals are: Oihana Iguaran (737.5 points), Nerea Elustondo (695 points), Ane Labaka (694.5 points), Julio Soto (691 points), Onintza Enbeita (688 points), Agin Laburu (685 points), Aitor Etxebarriazarraga (682.5 points), Madaut
Amets Arzallus, Subai Colina, Aitor Mendiluze, Beñat Gaztelumendi and Unai Agirre are in the semifinals of the previous tournament.
What will the attempt to move from the semi-finals to the end be like?

Of these 24 bertsolaris that will sing in the first round of the semifinal, the 12 bertsolaris that score the highest will be ranked in the second round of semifinals. They will sing in two more sessions and add the points they get in the two semifinals. From this sum you will get the list of the seven bertsolaris that will make the final together with Maialen Lujanbio.
The semi-finals will involve 14 men and 10 women and taking into account the territoriality, 12 from Gipuzkoa, 5 from Bizkaia, 4 from Iparralde and 3 from Navarra.
