On Monday the complaint was lodged by the aggressor and the meeting was held at 19:00. Many people came to denounce the violence that occurred at the end of the Loinatz festivities under the motto “Feminist self-defense in the face of aggression”.

The Feminist Assembly of Beasain, in collaboration with the Feminist Coordinator of Goierri, published a paper on Instagram and Twitter. There the groups denounce the rape and show the victim their support and solidarity. They add that they are fed up with men suffering again and again the aggressions merely because they are women* and that society justifies these aggressions that occur in a festive atmosphere: “These attacks in the festive atmosphere are just one more example of those we suffer in daily life. At parties, both drugs and alcohol justify these attacks in the eyes of society, but we know that behind them there is a structural social structure that sustains and reproduces the attacks.”
