The movement was born a year after the 2022 Ecotaxes with the objective of making a “qualitative and quantitative leap” in the struggle for the ecosocial crisis. The project started from the need to respond to the absence of the ecological and ecosocial movement in Hego Euskal Herria.

The group contextualizes the ecological crisis within the framework of the social crisis and defines as an objective the construction of a strong eco-social movement in Hego Euskal Herria “to open the way to structural material transformations”. .

Working groups are currently being set up in Gipuzkoa, Bizkaia, Álava and Navarra. They encourage everyone who adheres to the eco-social reading, of any gender, territory, age, profession and ideology to participate. The group’s “desire” is for members of academia, popular movements and civil society to join this project.

In this regard, they have launched the promoter's presentation tour. Between November and December, at 7 p.m., hearings have been organized in 11 locations, at the Azebarri Cultural Association of Algorta.
