On Tuesday afternoon, the feminist movement in Bilbao appeared in front of Arriaga to denounce the aggressions suffered on the first day of festivities. In fact, on Saturday, coinciding with the beginning of Bilbao's Big Week, the feminist movement manifested itself in the txosnagunea. They crossed the txosnagunea with the objective of indicating that the festive zone is not exclusive to men and that in the face of any male aggression will be answered by feminist self-defense “Temblad cabrones! With the slogan “Fears with us and us!”, from the Arriaga Bridge to the Arenal. In the same journey, the manifestations of male violence were highlighted in the spotlight of the manifestations. The feminist movement denounced the following day that, as they passed through the txosnaga, they suffered a series of macho attacks.

They had to endure scandals, shocks, punches, beverage launches, insults, etc. “Why should I take it out of half? Go to make the stone!”, “Fuck, how heavy! They had to hear things like “Always repeating the same thing!”, and they stress that as the Moscow went through the comparsa area, the txosna placed the hymn of Athletic. “In recent times, the criminalization of the Feminist Movement is being very evident, and what happened the previous day was a clear consequence: we went out to put the aggressors in the spotlight, we suffered multiple attacks,” the feminist movement read.

They have been angry at the facts and, far from exaggerating, have underlined that the attacks they have suffered have confirmed in the feminist struggle. “Because we made it clear from the beginning: Fears are left with us!” They manifest their intention to continue as it was at the demonstration: making use of feminist self-defense, advancing above all attack. “If we suffered a hundred attacks, we gave a hundred responses; together, we took care of each other and responded harshly, ending the mobilization. Every metro we were moving forward was a victory, and we understand that!” They end their appearance with a clear message: “Let’s take the space that corresponds, the Big Week is ours, the parties are ours!”
