The feast of the Basque Araba has been extended from morning to afternoon in the Alavesa town of Llodio. Although some rainfall has been recorded in the morning, the sky has remained sunny for much of the day.

The party started at 10 a.m., with an act in the Town Hall Square. A number of political representatives have spoken at the event: The Mayor, Ander Añibarro, the Deputy General, Ramiro González, and the Education Advisor, Jokin Bildarratz. The witness of the Basque Araba has passed to the Ikastola Argantzun de Treviño (Bizkaia). Thus, in 2022, it will be up to this school to organize the initiative.

Because of the pandemic situation, organizers have changed the traditional holiday model. But they have been able to turn what could be a limit into an opportunity, carrying out actions that would not be done as usual.

There have been two main areas: Village Square and Aldai and Lamuza Park. Tómbola, fair of local producers, show of Go!azen, 'scape room', children's activities, dances, bertsolaris... have offered countless activities for the people. In the afternoon, however, music has taken the lead, with the performances of Maider Zabalegi and Aneguria.
