Italy is in the second phase of the spread of the virus and the Government considers it essential to control the origin of the new positives. To do so, it will launch the Immuni app, which controls citizens' movements and their medical history.

As has been said, it has two main functions. On the one hand, it controls the movements of citizenship and identifies the people who have been in contact with the positive ones. Stores the location data of people who have been in the user environment. On the other hand, it keeps the user's medical history, pharmacy requests and control of symptoms. The user will be able to communicate their symptoms to the application every day.

The Chief of Medical Emergencies, Domenico Arcuri, has assured that the test will be carried out in several provinces before it spreads to the entire state. He stressed that the installation of the application is in the hands of the will of the citizens, but they expect it to be a "massive use". For the data obtained to be valid, at least 60% of Italians must install the application.
