The Gazan Ministry of Health estimates that some 46,000 civilians have been killed since October last year and so far by the Israeli Army in Gaza, including 17,400 children. The total number of wounded would be 107,338, while the number of missing persons would exceed 11,000.

At a hearing on Friday at the Katakrak in Pamplona, the organizers said that as long as the massacre continues in Gaza, "here we prepare the holidays in a great way, the contrast is shameful. And we're not talking about stopping enjoying life. The point is that we must stop looking the other way, as if nothing had happened, is not forgetting genocide.”

They have also denounced that the thousands of deceased children are a priority objective for Israel and that this infanticide is being carried out with the complicity and passivity of Western governments, “what happens is, therefore, to bring that reality closer to our bubble of life.”

The reading will be the largest ever read in Navarre and will begin at 12:00 a.m. on December 28. Reading will involve citizens of culture, art, journalism or many other areas. Previously, we will be careful “to give way to our children to participate in a playful and cultural way, showing their solidarity, sending messages of support and affection, contributing to their respectful and solidarity growth”.
