Since Israel launched the attack on Gaza, the idea of expelling the Palestinians from Gaza is gaining more and more strength. So far, no country has been named except the Arab states in the area, especially Egypt. Now Zman Ysrael talks about Congo, but he doesn't specify whether it's Congo Republic or Democratic Republic of Congo.

The media Meddle East Eye also echoed the news and states that, in statements made on Tuesday, the Israeli Government’s Minister of Intelligence, Gila Gamaliel, said that “voluntary emigration” is the “best and most realistic for the day after fights”.

Minister Gamaliel is making numerous statements of this kind and this very week in the Israeli Parliament said: "At the end of the war the government of Hamas falls, there will be no rulers, and the civilian population will depend entirely on humanitarian aid. There will be no work and 60% of peasant lands will become security zones (...) The problem of Gaza is not just our own, the world should support humanitarian migration, it is the only solution I know."

Before in Egypt

Since the Israeli Navy began destroying Gaza in October, they have echoed the expulsion and, in October, the Israeli War Government spoke of three options in the Diplomatic Monde of the University of London, Gilbert Achcar, the implementation of the Palestinian Power Government in Gaza, the prescription of an Israeli government and the expulsion of Palestinians. The latter was the most feasible, according to government sources.

There was also talk to the Egyptian authorities about this issue and to help the country financially if it built a space in the Sinai Desert to welcome Palestinian refugees, first in the stone houses and then in the stone buildings. Egypt has so far renounced the proposal and has faithfully closed its doors at the Rafah pass.

USA vs USA

On Tuesday, US Department of State spokesman Matthew Miller condemned statements by several Israeli ministers in favor of expulsions: “The United States rejects statements by ministers such as Smotrich and Itamar Bern Gvir for the relocation of Palestinians outside Gaza.” The Far Right Minister, Ben-Gvir, was not involved in the response given to the social network X: “With all due respect, we are not another star of the United States. The United States is our best friends, but above all, we have to do the best for the State of Israel.”

Humanitarian expulsions

Israel’s extreme right is campaigning in Israel to expel Palestinians from Gaza to other countries. But what would be clear ethnic cleansing is what is known as humanitarian expulsion. After the destruction of gauze, they stress that expulsion is a “moral action” and argue that the world has a responsibility to welcome its citizens. You see the destruction and expulsion of the gauze completely attached. Earlier this week, Israeli Ambassador Tzipi Hotovely in the United Kingdom announced to a British radio that all buildings in Gaza must be destroyed, as a tunnel using Hamas is “under all mosques and schools.”

The UN Office of Humanitarian Affairs announced on Wednesday that 85 per cent of the population of Gaza has begun the year 2024 outside their places of residence.
