Seven young people from the Casco Viejo de Pamplona have been called to declare on September 17 as alleged authors of public disorder during the carnivals of the neighborhood. They are between 17 and 23 years old, mostly minors. They were interrogated by the National Police in March, but they refused to testify.

A National Police van speedily toured the streets of Pamplona during the carnivals of this year’s Old Party, where several young people disguised themselves as prisoners. She hit a 14-year-old girl. Instead of calling the ambulance, the police took the child detained in the police van. He later had to be admitted to a hospital because of the presence of a fissure in the pelvis.

The Spanish Government considers that the action of the National Police in the carnivals of Pamplona was "in accordance with the principles of congruence, adequacy and proportionality". This was explained to EH Bildu in response to a question from the Congress of Deputies. The Basque Government has rejected the possibility of opening a disciplinary file.
