Stop Evictions Gipuzkoa, Aloku Benta Berri and tenants Azora are the conveners of the rally to be held this Tuesday in the Plaza de la Constitución. The Banco Sabadell has called to mobilize at 11:00 hours at the gates of the branch of the Avenida de la Libertad de Donostia-San Sebastián to denounce the eviction of two elders by the real estate Solvia in Irun.

A couple of elderly people at risk of being on the street are avalicious in their child's mortgage and, after the inability of the child to make mortgage loans, they have ordered eviction against their parents. Among them is Solvia, a real estate in charge of managing the homes acquired by the Banco Sabadell through foreclosures for defaulting the mortgage. The promoters of the concentration have explained that the elderly couple paid their full house as a guarantee in their child's mortgage and that they have had to pay as a reward the housing they owned. Subsequently, a social charter contract was signed without extension for a period of three years, ending on 24 January. According to Stop Desahucios, Solvia informed them on 1 September that they had to leave their home on 24 January.

Stop Desahucios Gipuzkoa has denounced that Sabadell and Solvia are aware of the situation of vulnerability they are in, as they were sent a comprehensive report of the Social Services of Irun. In this regard, they regretted that they did not respond to the request for renewal of the rental contract.
