The Historical Heritage Service of the Foral Government presents a report to begin the process of declaring the Hand of Irulegi as a movable cultural good. The bronze piece was discovered on June 18, 2021 and is listed in the archaeological excavations programmed at the site of Irulegi (Valle de Aranguren, Navarra) and in the Archaeological Inventory of Navarra.

The excavation area corresponds to the wild castro of Irulegi, specifically to the area of stay inside the walls. The Archaeological Area "Conjunto de Irulegi", located in the Aranguren Valley, was declared a good of cultural interest by the Government of Navarra on April 26, 2023. From now on, a 30-day public information period will be opened, starting on Tuesday, so that all those interested in the dossier can examine it and check as they see fit, signed by Ignacio Apezteguía Morentin, Director General of the Prince of Viana Cultural Institution.
