- On 3 March we will celebrate the Basque carnival of Iruinkoa, head of the city, through the streets of the Old Town. In total, this show, created thanks to the collaboration of 70 people, merges dance, music, theater and bertsolarism, and has as its main axis the Basque.
The action will consist of two parts: the collection or alterations, through the visit to the Basque associations of the Casco Viejo de Pamplona, and then the main act or crustra, in the plaza of Santa Ana.
In the scares, the protagonists of the carnival will visit the different associations, offering on their portals dances, songs or bertsos, among others.
At 13:00 noon, on the other hand, in the main act, the White Coconuts – the dancers – will take the place first. Black coconuts -- tiny, dark, provocative characters -- will steal their place and make a satirical gesture about the city's most significant events throughout the year. Finally, the bertsolaris will comment live on everything that has happened and seen in the bullring. This chain -- dance, theater, verse -- will be repeated four or five times in the popular representation of about an hour and a half. The final will be made through a leap danced by all participants, both the public and the public.

From the outset, Pamplona has an open and participative vocation. Besides the members of the four organizing associations, dantzaris from different dance groups in Pamplona, a group of musicians, musicians from here and there, and other individuals have participated.
Forge part of the Basque Carnival of Pamplona along with coco-whites, black coconuts, dragons, dancers, musicians, bertsolaris and actors!
