'Irati', the most successful film in Basque

Since Ira, the second feature film by Vitorian director Paul Urkijo has beaten all records since his arrival in the cinemas. So far, over 120,000 people in the Spanish state have seen a story that blends real facts and fantasy.

In the first week of the premiere, Irati held the first position in the box office of Hego Euskal Herria and the second in Spain. According to data from the film company Filmax, for the third consecutive week, it remains one of the ten most viewed movies in the theaters and remains the most visible film of Hego Euskal Herria.
