The association that owns the broadcaster has announced that the broadcast will be interrupted on 15 December and that, with the new year, a new project will be launched in Basque.
Thirteen years ago, the Aztibegia association began to create a radio project at the level of the Basque Country that would have the legality to broadcast by FM. Now, you've seen the opportunity to take a leap and you've decided to move on.
They have reported that the new project has obtained permits to be issued in full legality in Hego Euskal Herria, specifically in the whole range of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, and part of Navarra.
"It's a great achievement, because it's the big communication groups that dominate the FM dials, it's the clientele that dominates, and it's not easy to make a hole in them," they say.
They affirm that they are ratified in the objectives of the Aztibegia association to "continue taking steps towards a comprehensive national project, based on legality". They have pointed out that licensing in Ipar Euskal Herria remains a challenge and that they want to continue to contribute in the field of community radios.

In order to inform the citizens about this new phase, the Aztibegia association has convened open meetings in the capitals of Hego Euskal Herria.
