- The inauguration ceremony took place at 11:30 a.m. in the Parliament of Navarre and was attended by political representatives as guests, including CAV President Iñigo Urkullu. New members have also been appointed, four led by Geroa Bai and one by With You Navarra, with the remaining eight in the hands of the PSN.
On Thursday morning, María Chivit took office as President of the Government of Navarra for the second time and held an event before several guests. For example, the lehendakari of the Basque Government, Iñigo Urkullu, and the first vice-president of the Spanish Government, Nadia Calviño, have been present.
Chivit has made a brief speech of about 40 minutes and has tried to mention a phrase in Basque.
Unlike the first investiture session, this time he has had no problem being elected lehendakari. Because PSN, Geroa Bai and With You Nafarroa voted in favour and EH Bildu abstained. At the end of the meeting, he thanked the members who have so far been part of the government and opened the doors.
In total, the PSN will have eight members: Felix Taberna, Óscar Chivite, Carlos Gimeno, Amparo López, Carmen Maeztu, José Luis Arasti, Rebeca Esnaola and Juan Cruz. Geroa Bai, four: Ana Ollo, Mikel Irujo, Fernanfo Domínguez and José Mari Aierdi. Finally, with you Navarra will only have one: Begoña Alfaro.
Among them, Félix Taberna will be the first vice-president of the Government of Navarra. Also noteworthy is the appointment of José Luis Arasti as Economic Advisor: Arasti has so far been the representative of the Spanish Government in Navarra.
