To the bank Ikatza Santander and to the parties that have agreed to reform the Income Guarantee Income
  • For their intention to lay off two families with children, they have cast coal in one of the headquarters of the bank Santander in Bilbao. Olentzero and Mari Domingi have also had coal for PNV, PSE and Elkarrekin.

The Community Aid Network and the Galdakao Housing Union have been the ones who have thrown coal into the bank of Santander, with the intention of firing two families from Basauri and Galdakao in the coming months, including children. Despite having asked for a meeting with the director of the Banco de Santander, entrepreneurs report that the bank does not want to speak and that it has left the responsibility for the fund Cerberus Capital Management. It has a firm intention of executing the lay-offs.

You see the case of Galdakao in ARGIA. Unfortunately, in 2022 we were told many news related to evictions, because there are still many evictions taking place in the Basque Country.

The photographs taken at the headquarters of the bank of Santander belong to the Centro Ecuador:

Tens of coal to which the IGR has agreed

On the other hand, the members of the Berri Otxoak group have dressed Olentzero and Mari Domingiz and have thrown dozens of kilos of coal before the Basque Government Delegation. The objective of the Income Guarantee reform, agreed by PNV, PSE and Elkarrekin Podemos, recently approved last week, has been to tighten the conditions for access to the IGR and to cut the rights of those living alone, pensioners and families with children. This reform “condemns the poor to be poor.”

In ARGIA we are told the main changes involved in the reform of the IGR and its criticisms.
