The students of the Alava campus held open assemblies on Monday, as part of the Professor of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UPV/EHU who was investigated for spreading "racist, transphobic and pro-fascist messages": 13:00 and 18:00 respectively. In addition, a mobilization will be held on Tuesday in the same faculty at 2:00 p.m.

Referring to the dismissal of the teacher from the Leioa campus that occurred at the beginning of the academic year, the students say that this is not an "isolated case", but a case that "shows the trend that is happening in society". In addition, during the mobilisation they will demand the immediate dismissal of the professor from the UPV and remind him that "fascism" has no place in the university and that they will face it through the organization. The assembly has also called for students to go out on the streets during the student strike called by the Nationalist Students organization "in the face of the reactionary upsurge" on March 13.

After Ikama and the UPV Student Council denounced the position of the teacher last week, the UPV decided to launch an investigation into the messages posted on social networks by the professor of the Faculty of Pharmacy. On Monday, however, it was discovered that the day after the publication of his messages, the professor filed a complaint with the Basque Government, accusing him of having "represented his identity".
