In Bilbao, now, what is happening at any time in any village of the CAV is being produced.
The new adult family has tried to enroll boys and girls in a public school in the town of Biscay. As the course is already underway, the documentation should be sent to the Education Committee. This Commission is responsible for ensuring balanced schooling between public and private schools for pupils who come out of time. The Commission has sent the licence plates to a concerted private centre. This private school has informed the family that the Catholic religion is "a coercive act". The family, which is of another religion, wants to go to the public at all costs; it is clear that in the private school it is not welcome, as this center refuses to the law to hinder its registration. The end of this knot is well known:
"In Bilbao, now, at any time, what can happen in any village of the CAV.La new
adult family tries to enroll children in a public school"
- Boys and girls will join the public school, although in it the degree of recycling of indigenous students is low and very high in the private center.
- The Education Committee will continue to work: it will allocate students without any follow-up, making deaf ears to all illegal practices (collection of fees, imposition of religion, requirement of minimum academic level...).
- The private centre will continue to be concerted, rejecting students who do not like it and asking for more public money.
There is public-private partnership and respect for the rights of families.
