Desire and strength to resist first
  • Once again the echo of the hustle and bustle in our Basque Country. Will you win death or resistance? In recent decades there have been many death threats to the horses of our farms, which were considered the cleanest way out of contagious diseases. And there have been fierce quarrels and fights everywhere not to let sheep or cows die for any reason. Most of the time, except that the first recommendations and mandates were to be expelled from the public authorities and from the industrial leaders leading to the production division, always accompanied by the heads of the department’s Chamber of Agriculture and FDSEA. On Easter, again and again, those of the OECD, ready to amend the fate of the herds and all possible outlets, without denying the inclinations of evil.

In our region we are not necessarily affected by mad cow disease, but as soon as it appeared in that season in 1996, the peasants of Confédération Paysanne rebelled against the death of whole herds of cows. You know that then you had to dare to go against what the public authorities were forcing you to do, because it was suspected that there could be an extreme risk to your health. In the meantime, however, the resistance had forced him to take refuge in the investigations, and he soon went out to observe the interior parts safely, and the rest of the people went to the slaughterhouse.

Around 1999, the evil of the golden sheep was lying here. Nobody looked like mad cow disease. In the last year of the last century, the various farms in the Basque Country suddenly faced the threats of disqualifying the entire sheep herd. We were only rejecting the ELB that order or threat from the public authorities and we believed that another way out should be stopped than murder. It is certainly hard and cold work the first, as you do not see yet another exit queue, and you certainly think that all the farms you want should save your horses and their flocks. Then comes the exits and, as in this case the Balkan sheep, realizes that there was already a way out before, but that they keep it.

Basically, it should always be remembered that, at least in times of animal health crisis, there is often a dark market reason: The priority of keeping a series of “status harmless” or productions clean, a dark and cruel objective of organising the repetition of a series of crops that is not mine. We have for a long time been repairing the concerns of the shaky sheep, and this was not yet another pretext for strengthening here the sheep race of the Aveyron.

Most simple pastors and Labrador pastors remember the catascos back from the agalakzi. The first was in 1980, the last since 2000. Be more experienced than I am in remembering and analyzing many things of the hour. Surely there have always been mountainous areas and all the regions that had to learn to live with the Ágalakzi evil of the discussions. During all the periods in which the evil began to take over it, the public authorities and the hand-cuffs that we have already mentioned have regularly expelled the order to kill livestock herds. And the OECD and the shepherds were persecuted, because they wanted to look at their sheep. Since then, concerns and great fears have taken place on farms and the great misfortunes have taken place in the offices of the administration. It has never been denied that it was necessary to control the disease, but since the ELB it has been said that the measures should not be more harmful than the disease and that all breeders who would like to take care of their herds could be supported.

There are always exits, but sometimes you have to be severe. In this country it has been shown that the effort and strength to resist so many times is needed first and foremost. Then there are new paths. Not always the plains, but the ones that take it further. Rather by dependency or by pure technique, by solidarity and perseverance.
