The judge quoted former Gasteiztarra prisoner Igor Uriarte López de Bikuña Txopo at noon this Thursday and agreed that the case should be resolved at the same time. The prosecutor has finally not asked for his expulsion and has proposed a period of one year to regularize his situation.

Uriarte claimed that he was unaware of this ban and that he lives with his partner in Urruña since he left prison in 2018, according to Hala Bedi in a statement. He was arrested by the gendarmes when he returned from a market in Ziburu and was transferred to the police station in Baiona.

The trial has been speedy, and although the defence has asked not to be punished, it has admitted the request for a postponement of the prosecutor. Thus, the judge has given him that one-year period, until September 2021, and has released him.
