On 3 and 5 May, he called for a strike conference in Peralta to denounce ill-treatment of the Basque employers. The Works Committee considers that the majority of workers depend on them. The strike also sought to promote a pact of general effectiveness that took account of the demands of the workers. However, the fact that the management of the company has adopted concrete measures to improve the working climate has led to the withdrawal of the strike and the resumption of negotiations to renew the agreement. LAB was pleased that "trade union action has succeeded in reorienting the situation".
"In Huerta de Peralta (known for the 28-day winter strike of 2018-2019), in a suffocating environment in which the imbalance in treatment and the difficulties in exercising their rights in the most basic daily procedures caused the indignation of the workers," said the union, which has advanced that the strike days have been paralyzed. Following a first meeting with the Strike Committee in the first hour of the afternoon of 29 April, negotiations were opened between the company’s management and the LAB trade union, and after exchanging several proposals and counter-proposals, the agreement containing most of the concrete measures proposed by the Strike Committee was finalised at the end of the afternoon of 30 April.
In this way, under this agreement, mechanisms are established to facilitate communication between the management of the company and the workers and that should serve to avoid situations of conflict. In this way, it helps to reduce the tension that characterizes labor relations in Huerta de Peralta, according to sources from the union.
Likewise, the dismissal agreement means resuming the negotiations to regulate the working conditions in the work center and LAB "will continue to rely on an enterprise pact of general efficiency that gathers the demands of the staff in the assemblies, with the aim of improving the conditions of the Collective Agricultural Agreement of Navarra".
