This news item mentions that the issue will be moved to the negotiations of the Moncloa-Generalitat. The news also includes some data such as the share or percentage of own languages/developments in some countries required by the laws of the platforms. To compare some countries: France 20-25%, but without the need for minority languages; Spain 5%, without the need for minority languages; Italy 20%; Poland 20%.

In a hearing in the Catalan Parliament, Counsellor Vilagra also raised new percentages in response to a question from the Catalan House: That 50% is reserved for European productions and, within that 50%, 30% for "non-Castilian co-official languages".

Specifically, when the Euskaraz Screens initiative published its demands in June, the following topic of legal fees was also mentioned:

Guaranteeing and legally increasing the presence of the Basque Country on the main streaming platforms

We demand from Netflix, HBO, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and the other platforms, that in the contents of the catalog that have been created in Euskera or are already subtitled, add the possibility of the Euskera and that they be offered to the whole of the Euskera. We ask the institutions to start negotiating with these platforms so that, in the new releases, they can proactively participate in the process of creating new dugs and subtitles in Basque and influence the new General State Audiovisual Laws to guarantee the presence of the Basque Country.

The news also deals with the topic in an article, collecting some opinions.
