The architect specialized in restoration and heritage management, María Peralta, has pointed out that “in the face of a discovery of these characteristics, one must be careful and the research work must be done with rigor. Well, this has required intensive laboratory work that will last until June of this year, just as excavations are restarted.”
The finding has been a surprise for the UPV team, which investigates in the galleries of Begoña. In fact, there are not many such testimonies in Bizkaia, let alone on the coast.
