The mobilizations began at 12 noon in the four capitals of Hego Euskal Herria, Bergara and Amurrio. The police have identified nine young people before the demonstrations in Bilbao and Pamplona/Iruña, according to sources from Ikama.

Ikama says that the current educational system has to change and has put on the table issues such as the precarious situation in schools, the privatisation of education or the segregation of pupils.

There has also been talk of the pandemic. The students have stated that no action has been taken against the psychological diseases that have intensified and that the pandemic has been used to strengthen the control mechanisms that preceded it. Ikama has denounced the high police presence and criminalization of the student organization, which has denied any form of discrimination.
