The Kuttuna website offers the possibility to buy bonds to help small businesses in the villages
  • The Kuttuna web platform, created by Oñati’s Magnet cooperative, offers citizens the possibility to help small businesses and services that have been forced to close by the coronavirus. In fact, you can buy bonus cards from those small shops and services, so the card can be paid now, and the products and services can be purchased when the shops reopen the doors.

"Buying bonuses to use these shops and services allows citizens to take care of their favorite shops in a situation of extreme gravity such as the present one. Upon completion of the containment state and after the reopening of the shops and services, bonus cards may be used in exchange for products and services. Meanwhile, these stores can earn revenue while the lockdown state is maintained." This is how the website Kuttuna.org presents the initiative.

The Magnet cooperative of Oñati, dedicated to the production of digital products and services, has created this initiative "given the situation of the merchants, hospitality companies and freelance professionals of our country".

29 shops in nine localities are already in Kuttuna

There are stores in Kuttuna that allow the operation with bonds from the following countries: Arrasate, Oñati, Zarautz, Bergara, Soraluze, Legazpi, Antzuola, Aretxabaleta and Azpeitia. In total, there are twenty-nine establishments.

How to buy bonds?

In order to make the purchase it is necessary to register first in Kuttuna.org as a user. Next, you choose between looking for merchants, hotels or professionals of the municipality and buying a bonus of one euro. "This money will go directly to the merchant," he said Kuttuna.org.

The bonus card Kuttuna.org will be available to the user in the user account, and will also be available in PDF format.
