On 21 April it was approved in Navarre to collect food from farmers. The delegation of the Spanish Government has sent the measure to them through a decree issued without signature and has placed strict conditions: to demonstrate that the food to be collected in the vegetable garden is “mandatory for survival”, to have it in the village or in the neighbor, or to ensure the property of the vegetable garden. They can only go to the orchard twice a week.
The same measure has been adopted by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior in other autonomous communities, such as Aragon and La Rioja, among others.
The Local Police of Navarra point out that this writing is not clear enough and that this paper underlines that "it is not allowed, in general, to turn to the gardens of self-consumption".
He also points out that agents will be able to request information "about the work being done in the garden", without specifying what concrete work can be done and which cannot.
To avoid contagion, they must go to the garden individually.
