The photo has just been broadcast on social media: Frederic Haramburu was released from 'Xistor' prison on the morning of 24 November, after thirty years in pre-trial detention. The man has left Lanamesa prison and is already among the relatives of the victim.

Even though he has been released from prison, he will have to comply with harsh conditions for the next eight years. For example, you will have to carry an electronic test system for at least 18 months.

The change of view from Paris?

"We want to believe that this decision represents a change of perspective regarding the peace process that began in Euskal Herria since 2011," said the statement submitted by the delegation that talks about the conflict in Paris. As he warned, this is the first time that the Paris Court of Appeal has granted his yes to parole against the opinion of the Minister of Justice.

The delegation makes it clear that it will continue to "work at all levels on resolving the consequences of the conflict", with the aim of "reconciliation".

In recent months, Bake Bidea has focused on citizen mobilization for the release of Haramburu, Jakes Esnal and Ion Parot prisoners, who have been in prison for 30 years. The document submitted by the delegation requests the release of Esnal and Parot. The last human action was the construction of a wall on 19 September in the subprefecture of Baiona to denounce the attitude of the French Government:

Haranburu was arrested in April 1990 and sentenced to life imprisonment for a crime of integration into the ETA Argala command, as reported by the National Police.
