- Like every month, the Observatory on Linguistic Rights has taken up the violations, congratulations and achievements of the rights of December. Most of the infringements come from both private companies and public institutions, such as the non-guarantee of the Basque health service in the health centers or the transmission of information in Spanish by the public administrations of the CAPV and Navarra.
Among other things, the citizens have sent to the Observatory that in the clinic Asunción de Tolosa there is no guarantee of health care in Euskera; that in the health center of San Vicente de Barakaldo has responded “if you do not speak in Spanish, I will not attend” to a user; that almost all messages of the social networks of the Boulevard de Vitoria-Gasteiz shopping center are broadcast in full
On the other hand, they denounce that the informative meeting offered by the CAV vice-advisor for Education was exclusively in Spanish, or that in Navarra the Social Security has sent letters to the countries in which the Basque Country is official.
The Observatory has also received the recognition of citizens for serving companies such as the Iztueta dairy, for putting their slogan in Euskera, or the Santa Maria de Doneztebe restaurant for attending them in Euskera.
In addition, in December they managed to correct the call for employment in Spanish of the public company in Zubilla.
