The Ertzaintza has arrested ten citizens tonight in the Old Part of Donostia-San Sebastian, after throwing objects to the police and hurting four officers. Two of the detainees are under 17 years of age and have been released; the rest are between 18 and 32 years old, and will be available to the Donostia-San Sebastian Guard Court on Friday, according to Berria.

The ten young people are charged with an offence of disruption of public order, according to the same sources. According to the Basque Government's Department of Security, compliance with the coronavirus measures was being monitored at the "non-parties" of the Big Week in Donostiarra. As they have indicated, at around three o'clock in the morning, the young people picked up the glass bottles from the containers that were on the spot and threw them into the police line.

Incidents of “non-parties”

Due to the state of health, the festivities of the Big Week of Donostia-San Sebastián have been suspended again this year. In recent days, however, celebrations of "non-parties" have taken place, which has led to numerous incidents among citizens. Last Tuesday two young people were arrested for throwing objects to the police, and on Thursday five people were arrested for similar actions at different points.
