The Department of Health of Navarra, according to the City of Leitza, has decided to conduct PCR tests for the weekend to all its neighbours over the age of fifteen, some 2,500 people.
According to the City Hall, COVID-19 cases have increased considerably in the locality, among residents of different ages and characteristics. That is why the Government has adopted a Foral Order in order to adopt more stringent measures in the field of social security.
The order, which will be published on the same Saturday in the Official Bulletin of Navarre, foresees that no measures are taken related to the mobility of persons, but will restrict capacity in bars, restaurants, playgrounds and public spaces.
In addition, gastronomic societies will be closed and there will be less crowding in dating with friends or relatives. These measures will last for fifteen days, although in this period of time they "may be modified", depending on the state of health in which they are located.
Since 22 August, 35 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Leitza and distributed in three outbreaks. This Thursday you have been aware of one of them.
