I'm furious! My children are not entitled and that is why I am angry! Children in the upper districts of the Tragpagan Valley do not have the chance to get sick.
The Valle de Trapagan is a town in Bizkaia, where, of course, there is an outpatient clinic, but as in the high neighborhoods – Larreineta, Barrionuevo, La Arboleda… – there are also residents, there is a health center, but the services are not so much. In fact, until the advent of this pandemic, we had the pediatrician's service twice a week; on Tuesdays and Thursdays it was not much, but something.
"My children don't have the right, and that's why I'm angry! Children in the upper districts of the Tragpagan Valley have no chance of getting sick."
At the hardest moments of the pandemic, we were taken out of service and recently re-established, reducing the initial service by half, now it seems that only on Thursdays does the pediatrician get into our neighborhood. However, they also seem to want to take away the misery we had once a week, as the pediatrician did not come to our neighborhood on December 3, Thursday.
It has to be said that from the high neighborhoods we have 10 kilometers in length to the outpatient clinic of Trapagaran, so if the child gets sick, take the sick child, board the bus, take the sick child, take the sick child, climb the funicular, take the sick child, get down the funicular, take the sick child and walk a kilometer from the funicular to the outpatient clinic of Trapagaran, so many others.
For those who do not have a child and have two or three, the odyssey will be even harder and, furthermore, if we add the cold travel temperature, wind, rain, hail or snow, which is very common in the highlands in winter, I would say that we are in a situation similar to that of a developing town. Parents' journey is wrong, right? No, think for a while that you are one of our sick children... Unacceptable!
Now that the rights of our children are being violated, I would like to say to those responsible – Osakidetza, the government team of the Trapagaran City Council, the Basque Government or all the Christ who has a small responsibility – that it is shameful with their attitude, but the fathers and mothers of the upstream neighborhoods will not stop, that we will remain firm until our little ones receive a dignified health service!
