On Monday afternoon, demonstrations will be held in many villages in Hego Euskal Herria to denounce the convictions of Catalan independence politicians. The recent judgment of the High Court of Justice of the State (TSJPV) confirming the judgment has been described as a "serious attack on democracy". These are the hours of the concentrations to be carried out in the capitals:

Donostia-San Sebastián: At 19:00, on Boulevard.

Pamplona: At 19:00, in the Town Hall Square.

Vitoria-Gasteiz: At 19:30 hours, in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Bilbao: 20:00 hours, opposite the City Hall.

The Supreme Court has argued that the referendum of 1 October 2017, among other reasons, was a crime of sedition in Catalonia. They will be able to go out into the streets by serving a quarter of the sentence. However, “this criminal judgment has opened a great door to the criminalization of civil, political and collective rights.”
