- The hotel associations lodged an appeal and the High Court of Justice of the Basque Country has decided that the demand for hotels and restaurants should be provisionally approved. It will take more time to analyse the substance of the matter and to find a solution to it. But the decree approved by the Basque Government is still in force, so the hotel owners must comply with the following cuts: Close at 20:00 hours, fulfill a maximum of 50% of your capacity and be able to consume both standing and bar, among other things.
From today on, the colour of the peoples, which the Basque Government renews twice a week, will not affect the opening or closing of bars and restaurants. The High Court of Justice of the Basque Country (TSJPV) has today analyzed the case and decided to provisionally approve the request of the hotel owners, arguing that "with the current measures the hospitality is not especially dangerous for public health".
This is not a final decision, but the High Court of Justice of the Basque Country will devote more time to analysing the substance of the matter and to resolving it.
Restrictions in force on accommodation
Although they have been authorised to open, hospitality establishments must comply with other restrictions. Among other things, close at 20:00 and open at 06:00, comply with a maximum of 50% of the capacity, store a meter and a half distance between people, do not consume standing or bar and around a table up to a maximum of four people.
