A 24-year-old man is imprisoned on charges of raping a woman in Pamplona. The Municipal Guard explains that the attack took place around 5:00 a.m. on Sunday in an atrium of the Plaza del Castillo when the woman headed for home.

After being attended by the municipal police, the woman is taken to the hospital. Thanks to the description made by the victim and the images recorded by the video cameras in the area, the Municipal Guard has identified the aggressor and arrested him in a few hours. After passing before the judge, he orders to imprison the man. Because, according to the judge, the defendant had a great opportunity to escape, because he has no fixed residence and is not regulated in the Spanish State. Jesus and Mary lived in the refuge when he was arrested.

In addition to rape, the man is accused of theft and fraud. The victim is charged with stealing the bank card and using it for "small shopping". Consequently, he would also be charged with a minor offence of theft and violent fraud.
