Yolanda Díaz, second vice-president of the current Spanish Government, spoke with a loud voice in assessing the results of the Summary. Thank those who have placed “trust” in the coalition and those who have gone to vote “with enthusiasm, fear, doubts or hope”. “In the campaign we told you that in Spain people were very worried, today they will sleep more calm,” he stressed. In addition to Spain, he adds that in Europe they “breathe better” by election results.

It says that democracy has won and has been strengthened. Referring to the right, he confirms that they have changed the script of the “who said they were going to win”. “We will not be distracted, from tomorrow we will govern better, we will give peace to Spain,” Díaz says. It has sent out its message in favour of public services and ensured that they want to continue to extend the rights of women, LGTB people and workers.

He recalled that the Sumar coalition has a very short trajectory and explained that they have achieved the “impossible” thanks to thousands of volunteers. But, saying that they are not content with being there, he stresses that besides the present are the future. The president of the Summary is greeted by the cry of “president”.
