First of all, we wish to extend our condolences to the family and friends of the woman killed in early August.

The people of Gaintxurizketa are fed up with the disillusionment of the administration and those responsible.

Those of us who live in the neighborhood are forced to take the car if we want to reach our destination safely. It is known that there is no pedestrian infrastructure on the roads of the area: no sidewalks, no pedestrian walkways, no bike lanes, no traffic lights… But in this GI-636 the risk increases.

To go from our homes to public transport or anywhere else, we must put our lives at risk, because we have to cross three adjoining roads without any security. They are not roads of all kinds, cars and trucks pass through here at full speed.

Collisions and accidents often occur between vehicles, but pedestrians are the most vulnerable, as in the last accident, because we lose our lives. There are too many people on this road, how much more are they going to need for those responsible to come up with a solution?

Enough!

We call on the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Euskotren, ADIF and the relevant officials to come up with real solutions!

Not one more life!
