The former student has denounced that during two courses the teacher abused the teacher at 12 and 13 years old, taking advantage of individual stays between professors and students, showing images of naked girls, unbuckling buttons of clothing and making tweaks, among other things. The family, linked to these facts, was forced to leave the place, the young man tried to commit suicide and today he continues to go to the psychologist's office. The father of Cuatrecasas, Juan Cuatrecasas, has pointed out to various media that his son is nervous and that what is sought is not only to close a cycle, but also to sensitize justice and society so that the actions of the aggressors do not always go unpunished.
Gaztelueta did not implement the protocol
Cuatrecasas believes that Gaztelueta is the college of Opus Dei and that the Church has put her hand on the shoulder. In addition, he added that the school has treated the defendant as a victim and that they have said so against the family. He recalled that when the sexual abuse was reported the college did not implement the protocol, even though the inspector requested it three times.
From the management of the center, they state that they have acted with total transparency and have not found any evidence against the professor. In practice, Gaztelueta has so far defended the professor: Among other things, it "encouraged" 25 students and teachers to sign a document that denies the complaint (although a colleague was right for the victim), and recently created a website with the aim of refuting the version of the former student.
It is expected that the trial will continue for six sessions and that it will be the young person who first declares after a biomass, the Prosecutor ' s Office has reported. The defense of the former student claims for the defendant a penalty of 10 years in prison, the prosecutor of 3 years, and the defendant's defense acquittal, arguing that there was no abuse.
