Several Burlada agents have denounced through social media that the arrest took place this morning in the Navarre town. According to URL0, the young man has been arrested by the National Police for participating in pickets of the general strike that paralyzed Hego Euskal Herria on January 30.
The Burlada Strike Committee has convened an information meeting to report on the situation of the young man in Plaza Askas at 19:30 a.m. and will denounce the repression suffered during the strike.
NOT UNIQUE
This young man from Burlada is not the only detainee who has left this general strike. A total of 19 were arrested on 30 January, including 9 young people from the Pamplona County, detained by the National Police and the Civil Guard in the attempt to stop the La Morea shopping centre. These nine were released the following day, while another young man was arrested at the time of the liberation of the nine.
